International Journal of Probiotics & Prebiotics (IJPP)
Overview
The International Journal of Probiotics & Prebiotics (IJPP) invites researchers, clinicians, and industry experts to submit original research, reviews, and short communications.
We are dedicated to the critical evaluation of the science behind probiotics, prebiotics, synbiotics, and postbiotics, bridging the gap between basic research and clinical application.
Aims & Scope
IJPP serves as a premier forum for unbiased scientific data on gut health interventions. We facilitate informed decision-making for healthcare providers and the nutraceutical industry.
We are seeking submissions in two primary categories:
- Preclinical Research: Studies utilizing animal models, cell cultures, and in-vitro systems to explore mechanisms of action and safety.
- Clinical Research: Human trials and epidemiological studies evaluating the therapeutic potential of biotic interventions.
Topics of Interest
We welcome submissions covering, but not limited to, the following areas:
| Category | Description |
|---|---|
| Gut Microbiome | Host-microbiota interactions, dysbiosis, and modulation strategies. |
| Probiotics | Novel strains, fermented foods, safety assessments, and starter cultures. |
| Prebiotics | Novel fibers, synergistic combinations (synbiotics), and metabolic health. |
| Clinical Apps | GI disorders (IBS, IBD), immune modulation, and antibiotic-associated diarrhea. |
| New Frontiers | Psychobiotics (gut-brain axis), skin microbiome, and personalized nutrition. |
