Article Processing Charges (APC)
Open Access Policy
Current Topics in Nutraceutical Research (CTNR) is a fully Open Access journal. This means that all articles are freely available to readers worldwide immediately upon publication, without any subscription charges or paywalls.
To support this model, authors are asked to pay an Article Processing Charge (APC). This fee covers the costs associated with the editorial process, peer review management, website hosting, indexing, and the long-term archiving of published content.
APC Amount
To ensure a simplified and transparent process for all authors, CTNR applies a flat fee structure regardless of the author's geographic location.
* Fee is payable only after the manuscript has been accepted for publication.
What Does This Fee Cover?
The Article Processing Charge ensures the quality and reach of your research. It explicitly covers:
- Editorial Services: Management of the peer review process and editorial decision-making.
- Production: Professional typesetting, formatting, and preparation of the Galley Proof.
- Quality Checks: Minor grammar and language checks, and reference formatting verification.
- Hosting & Indexing: Online publication, permanent archiving, and submission to major indexing services.
- DOI Assignment: Registration of a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) for every article.
Additional Support Services (Optional)
While basic language checks are included in the APC, some manuscripts may require extensive editing to meet international publication standards.
If a manuscript needs significant help with writing style, grammar, and content presentation, we offer an optional specialized editing service.
- Cost: $200 – $600 USD (determined by manuscript length and complexity).
- Scope: Extensive language polishing and structural editing.
This service is optional and separate from the standard APC.
